The runVIBE team are pleased to announce the winner of the ASICS shoes for participating in the recent runVIBE survey. Many thanks to all those that completed the survey questions. It has provided us with great input for further refinement of runVIBE.

The runVIBE team are pleased to announce that Natalie from the Hawkes Bay is the winner of a a pair of ASICS Kayano 27 shoes for completeing the recent runVIBE survey.

The runVIBE team ran the survey in conjunction with the participation of NZ running legend Lisa Tamati and would like to thank her for promoting the survey amongst the athletes who follow her online.

Natalie is currently training for a half marathon, but is facing some injury issues as she relates below –

“Wow that’s absolutely awesome. I’m so excited. I am fairly new to running, having discovered trail running just a couple of years ago. I am entered in the Hawke’s Bay Half Marathon (my first ever official Half Marathon which is due to be held on 15th May – the day before my birthday). I’ve had my current running shoes (Asics) for quite a while and they are starting to look worse for wear. I can’t afford to replace them at present so this is absolutely perfect. I have two badly torn hamstring tendons and an avulsion fracture in my pelvis but I am still training, doing what I can – I’m determined and nothing is going to stop me!!

Thank you ever so much. This is such wonderful news. (I am also a massive fan of Lisa Tamati and I have all of her books. She is utterly incredible and has been a huge inspiration for me).”

Once again congratulations to Natalie and we wish her all the best for the Hawkes Bay Marathon. We are pleased to be able to help with the achievement of your running goalsĀ  and with such determination in the face of a very difficult injury, we are sure you will succeed.

Running is Simple; We all know how.

Except it’s not; And we don’t “
